He's a two-time Premier League winner and a Champions League hero, part of the legendary Treble-winning team of 1999.
And this is the part most people miss... Neville's success wasn't just about his skills on the pitch. He had an obsessive mindset, a level of dedication that Scholes describes as unparalleled.
"He was just obsessed with United. He loved everything about the club and being a part of it. Among the six or seven of us who made it to the first team, he was the most professional footballer I've ever seen," Scholes said.
Neville's induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame last week solidifies his status as one of the greatest right-backs in the division's history. But Scholes believes other United legends should be recognized too.
The Premier League Hall of Fame aims to celebrate players and managers who've made an impact, and Neville certainly fits the bill. However, Scholes suggests that the likes of David Beckham, Dennis Bergkamp, and Eric Cantona, all former United greats, should also be considered for future inductions.
