Bold update: a veteran target joins the Broncos' practice squad.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo.— Denver has brought in a seasoned wide receiver to bolster the roster. On Tuesday, the team announced the signing of Elijah Moore to the Broncos’ practice squad. In a corresponding move, wideout Kyrese Rowan was released from the practice squad.
Moore is a 2021 second-round pick with a career line of 209 receptions for 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns. In the 2025 season, he appeared in nine games with the Bills, recording nine catches for 112 yards.
For the 2023–24 period, Moore posted 120 catches for 1,178 yards and three touchdowns for the Browns. Now in his fifth year in the NFL, Moore was originally drafted by the Jets with the 34th overall pick in 2021.
Why this move matters: adding a veteran playmaker gives Denver an option with experience to contribute on special teams and in depth at receiver. Moore’s prior production demonstrates reliability and playmaking potential when healthy, which could translate into immediate opportunities if the roster decisions open up.
